Ten Chimneys, the home of Alfred Lunt and Lynn and Fontanne is an amazing estate that the celebrated couple enjoyed as their summer home. The two actors brought their Hollywood and Broadway friends there throughout the year to “get away” from the hustle and bustle of the big cities. The estate truly has ten chimneys and you’ll see them all, along with their entertaining rooms, private pool area, gardens and SO much more. You’ll also hear about all their guests and the lore of the estate.
The day also includes a delicious lunch and another area stop that will tie into our theme. If you’ve been to Broadway you may have been to the theater named in their honor. Now you’ll want to hear the rest of the story and their strong ties to Wisconsin.

We will meet at the Hoffman Road Park and Ride at 7:30 am for an 8:00 am departure. We will return about 6:00 pm.
